Hi I’m Ricki Uster, owner and event designer of la Ricki event design based in Phoenix, Arizona.  This is where I share things that inspire me and my latest projects.

I truly enjoy planning + designing for those wanting a fresh + unique occasion.

All celebrations are exciting to me!  Bridal and baby showers, holiday parties, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays…you name it.  But weddings are the most special to my heart.  A day filled with love for two people, and all those who support them can share in that special moment.  All the important details and preparation, all the buzz of energy leading up to the event are what I plan and make happen.

I adore handcrafted goods and great vintage finds, they make beautiful additions to an event.  I love finding ways to re-use or up-cycle things that tend to surprise clients.  I am fond of tasty foods, sweet treats and helping make a great party.  I believe that every event’s success and client’s happiness is measured by how fun it was.

And now the fun can begin!  I am here to listen and discover what is important and unique to you.  Every person and couple is special as should the event be as well.
